YEBO is actually the oldest classic ska band still performing/existing in Europe. The name comes from the Zulu language and basically means Yes! Set up in 1979, the band has always modelled itself on the legendary Studio One's Caribbean sounds/music/artistes. There's nothing high-flown/pretentious/bombastic about it, it's just a transparent sound in search of its own. Yebo's line-up has not changed very much over the years, and it is now one of the most experienced and professional classic ska bands around. An absolute must for Ska fans and for lovers of Classic Reggae. Even confirmed jazz fans will enjoy the mixture of Rhythm & Blues, Calypso and Jazz. With its swinging Jamaica Jazz, brass instrumentals and vocal numbers, Yebo turns every performance into a dance party.
